PROFILE
XΛVΛX is a solo project by Dmitry Belov from Bryansk — one of Nailmark’s most conceptual worlds: not only music, but an act of observation. Music that looks at itself.
Its world is built from symmetry, self-reflection, balance, mathematics and human emotion — machine and human, structure and feeling, observer and mirror. The name XΛVΛX was chosen as a visually symmetrical form.
The sound: progressive architecture, jazz-fusion thinking, neoclassical lines, cinematic design, glitch textures, orchestral strings, analog synths and expressive guitar phrasing.
The project is conceived as a series of 12 palindromic compositions: EYE, WOW, NOON, CIVIC, LEVEL, ROTOR, RADAR, REFER, TENET, KAYAK, MADAM, RACECAR. Also: XΛVΛX × The Materials — Jupiter.
XΛVΛX is sound that does not seek a center. It already is one.
Symmetry
Composition is thought as a symmetrical structure — forward and back, reflection, repetition, variation, geometry. The palindrome is conceptual, not a claim of mathematically reversible masters.
Sound
Digital meeting the living: polyrhythms, progressive form, glitch textures, strings, analog synths, jazz-fusion guitar and cinematic sound design.
Palindrome cycle
Twelve symbols form one cycle: EYE · WOW · NOON · CIVIC · LEVEL · ROTOR · RADAR · REFER · TENET · KAYAK · MADAM · RACECAR.
Visual language
Artwork works as axial symmetry / Rorschach: abstract forms mirrored on an axis become a mirror for the listener.
